  • Lead the annual audit process across UAE and KSA entities, acting as the primary point of contact with external auditors
  • Coordinate ICV certification audits and tax filings
  • Ensure all finance activities comply with internal policies, regulatory requirements, and control frameworks across AP, treasury, petty cash, and related areas
  • Prepare, review, and submit monthly/quarterly VAT, WHT, and other statutory filings in line with regulatory requirements
  • Lead UAE Corporate Tax filings, ensuring full compliance with local legislation and deadlines
  • Maintain strong oversight of tax documentation and audit trails
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to streamline accounting processes and reduce manual intervention
  • Recommend enhancements to policies, procedures, and controls to strengthen financial governance and performance
  • Review weekly and ad-hoc payments prior to management authorisation
  • Oversee payroll preparation and timely submission
  • Support additional projects and initiatives as required by management

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in a similar senior accounting role, ideally within a professional services or consultancy environment
  • Qualified CA, CPA, ACCA, or CIMA (essential)
  • Strong technical knowledge of accrual accounting principles, IFRS/IAS standards, and financial controls
  • Proven experience leading external audits and managing auditor relationships
  • Hands-on experience with VAT filings and UAE Corporate Tax compliance (essential)
  • Strong understanding of regional tax and regulatory requirements (UAE/KSA preferred)
  • Advanced Excel/spreadsheet skills and strong financial systems proficiency
  • Highly analytical with exceptional attention to detail
  • Ability to work autonomously, manage tight deadlines, and juggle competing priorities
