Our client, a Global Professional Service based organisation is looking to recruit a Treasury and Accounting Specialist to join their busy Dubai Accounting team.   In this role you will deliver expertise in areas including but not limited to treasury, bank guarantees, month end and audit.

Responsibilities:

• General cash management
• Support in preparation of banking documents and submission to the bank
• Monitor and resolve banking issues
• Manage performance and bid bonds by processing request, liaising with the bank and the requestor to ensure accurate and timely issuance of bonds
• Maintain bond registers and complete reconciliations
• Initiate SADAD payments and bank transfer payments with support from the relevant accounting functions
• Support in weekly bank reconciliations
• Assist the accounting manager in preparation for monthly and year end close
• Support RFP process where required

Chief Accountant- Tax & Transfer Pricing experience

Our client a fast-growing distributor of confectionery and snacks are looking for a Chief Accountant with experience in Transfer Pricing and Tax for their Dubai based operations.  The role will be based in DMCC with great opportunities of growth.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the accounting team in performing day-to-day accounting activities, including AP, AR and GL Maintenance and financial reporting
• Develop and implement accounting policies and procedures to ensure accuracy, efficiency and compliance with regulatory standards
• Maintenance of transfer pricing policies in compliance with local and international regulations
• Coordinate with cross functional teams to establish and document transfer pricing methodologies and intercompany transactions
• Conduct transfer pricing analyses to assess and mitigate risks associated with transfer pricing adjustment

We are recruiting a Senior Accounting Specialist for our Multinational client, this role will be based in Dubai however look after Local Content (LC) and In- Country Value for Abu Dhabi, Dubai and Doha offices.

Responsibilities:

• Independently coordinate the end-to-end LC certification process
• Manage communication on updates, educate various stakeholders within the business
• Proactively build LC network, reach out to LC auditors and authority for updates and attend LC training to become a subject matter expert
• Update calculation and communication with new knowledge and changes in the process
• Coordinate and educate internal teams to determine and achieve maximum score where possible, this will include working with vendors team to promote using local suppliers where possible

Our client, a specialist in Sporting and Entertainment Events, are looking for a Regional Financial Accountant to support their Middle East operations.  This role will be based in their Riyadh office and will support the project accounting function and government statutory reports for KSA, UAE and Qatar.

Responsibilities:

• Perform month end account closing activities and reconciliation of financial statements and accounts.  In addition to maintaining the GL and preparing journal entries for accruals and variances
• Support in the preparation of monthly financial statements and report to HQ
• Prepare weekly cashflow statement and controlling expenditure and cash flow collecting and analyzing data
• Update and reconcile client fund management budgets to sales invoices raised and supplier invoices received recorded in the client work in progress job costing module to ensure accurate reporting and efficient management of client funds
• Work closely with Account Managers and Project Leads to ensure Reconciliation & control of budgets in Project Accounting
• Reconciliation of Project budgets, WIP accounts and intercompany accounts
• Prepare, review and file of company returns, Withholding taxes, and Income Tax Returns for KSA, Qatar and UAE
• Support with the quarterly/ yearly audit process liaising with external auditors

Requirements:

• Degree educated with a professional accountancy qualification, ACCA, CPA, CMA or equivalent
• Middle East experience in statutory reporting filing taxes in KSA, knowledge of UAE and Qatar a plus
• Strong interpersonal skills with ability to form positive working relationships with colleagues in ME, UK and around the Group

Responsibilities

• Take full responsibility for the financial accounting, management accounting, budgeting, cash flow, cost control and profitability of the finance operations in KSA
