Senior Accounting Specialist- Dubai

AED 21,000 – 24,000 + family medical and air ticket

We are recruiting a Senior Accounting Specialist for our Multinational client, this role will be based in Dubai however look after Local Content (LC) and In- Country Value for Abu Dhabi, Dubai and Doha offices.

Responsibilities:

• Independently coordinate the end-to-end LC certification process
• Manage communication on updates, educate various stakeholders within the business
• Proactively build LC network, reach out to LC auditors and authority for updates and attend LC training to become a subject matter expert
• Update calculation and communication with new knowledge and changes in the process
• Coordinate and educate internal teams to determine and achieve maximum score where possible, this will include working with vendors team to promote using local suppliers where possible
• Support and monitor cases impacted by ICV score

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a degree in Accounting with a minimum of 5 years’ experience, a professional accountancy qualification is preferred ACA, ACCA, CPA etc
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management
• Solid analytical skills, ability to use data-based systems and run reports
• This would suit an individual working within internal or external audit
