Chief Accountant- Tax & Transfer Pricing experience

Dubai

AED 20,000 – 25,000 pm

Our client a fast-growing distributor of confectionery and snacks are looking for a Chief Accountant with experience in Transfer Pricing and Tax for their Dubai based operations.  The role will be based in DMCC with great opportunities of growth.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the accounting team in performing day-to-day accounting activities, including AP, AR and GL Maintenance and financial reporting
• Develop and implement accounting policies and procedures to ensure accuracy, efficiency and compliance with regulatory standards
• Maintenance of transfer pricing policies in compliance with local and international regulations
• Coordinate with cross functional teams to establish and document transfer pricing methodologies and intercompany transactions
• Conduct transfer pricing analyses to assess and mitigate risks associated with transfer pricing adjustment
• Ensure compliance with local and international tax laws and regulations, including preparation and filing of tax returns, VAT and corporate tax
• Coordinate and manage internal and external audits, ensuring timely and accurate completion

Requirements:

• Candidates must possess a degree in Accounting, Finance or related field, a professional accountancy qualification is an advantage
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in accounting with a focus on transfer pricing and tax
• Knowledge of both local and international tax
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills
