AR Accountant- Turkish Speaking

AED 15,000- 18,000 + medical + air ticket

We are seeking a Turkish-speaking Accounts Receivable Accountant to join a manufacturing business, responsible for customer invoicing, collections, account reconciliations and receivables reporting. The successful candidate will work closely with sales teams and customers to resolve account discrepancies, monitor outstanding balances and support effective cash flow management.

Key Responsibilities:

• Process sales invoices, credit notes and debit notes accurately and in a timely manner
• Coordinate with sales teams to resolve customer invoicing queries, account discrepancies and other customer-related matters
• Follow up with customers to collect outstanding payments, resolve queries and ensure timely settlement of overdue balances
• Prepare and monitor accounts receivable ageing reports, investigating overdue balances and coordinating appropriate follow-up actions
• Track incoming bank payments and allocate receipts to the relevant customer accounts in SAP
• Assist with calculating bad debt provisions, processing write-offs and monitoring recovery amounts
• Prepare monthly accounts receivable closing reports, including ageing analysis and bad debt provisions
• Reconcile customer accounts and ensure the accuracy and completeness of receivables records
• Prepare supporting schedules and documentation for internal and statutory audits
• Support month-end closing activities and contribute to improvements in collection processes and receivables management

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or a related discipline
• Previous experience in an Accounts Receivable or accounting role, preferably within the manufacturing industry
• Fluency in Turkish and English, both written and spoken
• Experience using SAP or a similar ERP system
• Strong knowledge of customer account reconciliations, invoicing, collections and receivables ageing
• Understanding of bad debt provisioning, write-offs and recovery processes
• Good Excel skills, strong analytical abilities and excellent attention to detail
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work effectively with customers and internal sales teams
• Ability to manage deadlines, prioritise outstanding issues and maintain accurate financial records
