AP Accountant- Turkish speaking

AED 15,000 – 18,000 + medical & air ticket

 

We are seeking a Turkish-speaking Accounts Payable Accountant to join a manufacturing business, responsible for managing supplier accounts, invoice processing, payment coordination and reconciliations. The successful candidate will work closely with suppliers and internal operations teams to ensure accurate financial records, timely payments and compliance with internal controls and audit requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Process and post supplier invoices, ensuring accuracy, appropriate approvals and correct accounting treatment
  • Reconcile supplier statements and coordinate with suppliers and operations teams to resolve invoice and payment discrepancies
  • Prepare supplier credit applications and manage vendor account creation in SAP and FABS
  • Perform bank postings and reconciliations, and prepare HSBC vendor payment templates
  • Monitor and clear Goods Received Notes (GRNs), investigating discrepancies between purchase orders, goods receipts and supplier invoices
  • Manage petty cash transactions and employee advances, ensuring accurate recording and timely reconciliation
  • Prepare accounts payable reports and supporting schedules for internal and statutory audits
  • Maintain accurate vendor records and ensure compliance with company policies and financial controls
  • Support month-end closing activities and ensure accounts payable transactions are recorded within the appropriate reporting period

 

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or a related discipline
  • Previous experience in an Accounts Payable or accounting role, preferably within the manufacturing industry
  • Fluency in Turkish and English, both written and spoken
  • Experience using SAP and familiarity with FABS or similar financial systems
  • Strong understanding of supplier reconciliations, invoice processing, bank reconciliations and payment procedures
  • Knowledge of GRN matching, purchase order processes and vendor management
  • Good Excel skills, strong attention to detail and the ability to meet deadlines
  • Excellent communication and coordination skills, with the ability to work effectively with suppliers and internal stakeholders
