Manager Freighter Planning

39-43k per month plus benefits

This role is for a leading airline in the region.

In this role you will manage the planning and the optimization of the freighter operations by developing and maintaining network schedules, capacity plans that will help the airline cargo growth and operational efficiency.

Applicants for this role should have a minimum of 8 years experience in airline cargo or freighter planning.  This should include some leadership/managerial experience. Must be fluent in English language.

Responsibilities will include the following and others:

• Developing the short, medium and long-term freighter network plans in line with the business objectives
• Coordinating with flight operations, engineering and ground handling staff to make sure that all rotations and schedules are operationally viable
• Conducting capacity and yield analyses, looking at performance and cost efficiency
• Working with cargo pricing and revenue optimization
• Preparing managerial reports covering performance, cost analysis, route profitability and operational efficiency metrics
• Ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and internal standards are met
