Job Description
The Business Analyst / Project Manager will be instrumental in driving business improvements within healthcare systems. This role involves collaborating cross-functionally to deliver digital and operational projects that enhance customer experience and business efficiency. The individual will work across Hospital Information Systems (HIS), Laboratory Information Systems (LIS), Radiology Information Systems (RIS), and other healthcare systems to ensure smooth implementations and effective change management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with internal departments (e.g., operations, finance, marketing) to gather requirements, understand pain points, and translate them into practical solutions.
- Project Leadership: Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of internal digital and system integration projects across the healthcare environment.
- Requirements Management: Define and prioritize business requirements, write user stories, and create process documentation to support both technical and business teams.
- End-to-End Project Management: Oversee timelines, budgets, vendor coordination, testing, and change management.
- Liaison Role: Act as a bridge between business units and technical resources, ensuring clarity, feasibility, and alignment of project goals.
- Continuous Improvement: Identify and drive opportunities for improvement across systems and processes.
Knowledge and Skills:
- Business Process Expertise: Understanding of supply chain, finance, customer service, and healthcare operations.
- Healthcare Systems Knowledge: Familiarity with HIS, RIS, and LIS systems, including integration requirements and clinical workflows.
- Digital Transformation Experience: Exposure to systems integration and digital transformation initiatives.
- Project Management Methodologies: Working knowledge of Agile and hybrid project management methodologies.
- Technical Awareness: Awareness of API usage, system architecture, and technical documentation.
- Governance and Compliance: Understanding of governance, compliance, and IT documentation standards.
- Tools Proficiency: Experience with tools like Jira, Confluence, Microsoft Project, and Trello.

Qualifications and Experience:
- Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent industry experience.
- Professional Experience: 3+ years in healthcare-oriented roles such as Business Analyst, Product Manager, or IT Project Manager.
- Proven Track Record: Experience in internal technology projects and cross-functional project leadership.
- Healthcare Systems Background: Exposure to premium service environments (e.g., retail or healthcare).
- Startup Experience: Experience working in startup, scale-up, or high-growth business contexts.
