Our client is a prominent UAE-based organisation establishing a specialist artificial intelligence and analytics function to support innovation, operational improvement and evidence-based decision-making across the business.

The AI Analyst will support the organisation’s AI and analytics initiatives by analysing data, translating business and operational requirements into AI-enabled insights, preparing dashboards and reports, and supporting AI use-case delivery. The role will work closely with internal stakeholders, technical teams and external partners to ensure analytics outputs are accurate, timely, actionable and aligned with governance, data privacy, information security and ethical AI standards. Responsibilities

  • Analyse structured and unstructured data to support operational and strategic decision-making.
  • Translate business questions and operational challenges into analytical and AI requirements.
  • Develop dashboards, analytical models, reports and presentations for management and decision-makers.
  • Assist in identifying opportunities for AI, automation and advanced analytics.
  • Support AI use-case lifecycle activities including ideation, analysis, testing, deployment support and monitoring.
  • Support AI engineers and data scientists with data preparation, analysis and validation.
  • Test, validate and monitor AI models and analytics outputs.
  • Document analytical assumptions, methodologies, findings and AI use-case records.
  • Maintain clear documentation to support AI governance, model transparency and audit readiness.
  • Ensure analytics and AI-related activities comply with internal data governance, data privacy, information security and confidentiality requirements.
  • Assist in implementing responsible and ethical AI principles.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of AI and analytics processes, tools and reporting methods.
  • Collaborate with business units, IT, data management, information security, strategy, performance, risk and compliance teams.
  • Liaise with approved AI vendors, consultants, research partners, academic institutions and relevant government stakeholders through official channels where required.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, Analytics or a related field.
  • Master’s degree in AI, Data Science, Computer Science, Engineering or a related field would be advantageous.
  • PhD preferred but not essential.
  • 0–3 years of experience in data analysis, analytics or AI-related roles; internships may be considered.
  • Exposure to AI, machine learning or advanced analytics tools is preferred.
  • Experience in a government, regulated or enterprise environment would be advantageous.
  • Strong capability in data analysis, statistics and analytical thinking.
  • Working knowledge of AI and machine learning concepts.
  • Experience using Python or similar analytics tools.
  • Experience with visualisation tools such as Power BI or Tableau.
  • Understanding of data governance, data quality, cybersecurity and data protection requirements.
  • Exposure to emerging technology such as NLP or generative AI would be beneficial.
  • Ability to prepare clear reports, dashboards and presentations for non-technical stakeholders.
  • Strong collaboration, communication, problem-solving and accountability.
  • Advanced English language skills; Arabic language skills would be advantageous.

The successful candidate will be an analytical and detail-oriented professional with a strong interest in AI, data analytics and digital transformation. They should be comfortable working with data, preparing reports and dashboards, supporting AI use cases and translating business requirements into practical analytical outputs. The role requires someone who can work collaboratively with technical and non-technical stakeholders while maintaining strong standards around data governance, confidentiality, ethics and information security.
