Job Description
We are representing a leading international exhibitions and events organisation that delivers some of the world's most recognised trade shows, conferences and industry events.
As the business continues to invest in data, analytics and digital transformation, they are looking to appoint a BI Manager to help shape the future of reporting, insights and analytical products across the organisation.
This is not a traditional BI development role. We are looking for someone who can bridge the gap between business stakeholders and technical teams, translating commercial objectives into meaningful reporting solutions, dashboards and analytical products that drive decision-making and create value.
Key Responsibilities
- Own the roadmap, development and continuous improvement of business intelligence and analytical products
- Partner with stakeholders across sales, marketing, operations and leadership teams to gather and prioritise reporting requirements
- Define KPI frameworks, reporting standards and management reporting methodologies
- Translate business challenges into actionable reporting and analytical solutions
- Drive the adoption and ongoing improvement of dashboards, reports and analytical tools
- Work closely with technical teams to ensure reporting solutions are accurate, scalable and trusted
- Identify trends, opportunities and areas for improvement through data analysis and insight generation
- Support the development of customer-facing analytical products and reporting solutions
- Coordinate analytical initiatives across multiple business functions and international teams
- Champion a data-driven culture throughout the organisation
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years' experience in Business Intelligence, Analytics, Reporting, Insights or Data Product Management
- Experience working within the exhibitions, events, conferences or B2B events industry
- Strong understanding of KPI design, management reporting and business performance measurement
- Experience gathering requirements directly from business stakeholders and translating them into reporting solutions
- Proven ability to manage analytical projects, roadmaps, priorities and stakeholder expectations
- Strong commercial awareness with the ability to turn data into actionable business recommendations
- Experience with Power BI or similar business intelligence platforms
- Understanding of data warehousing, data governance and modern analytics environments
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to combine strategic thinking with hands-on execution
