Our client is a global business events and media organisation that creates industry-leading conferences and exhibitions across multiple sectors. Their events bring together senior decision-makers, innovators, technology providers, and investors to drive collaboration, knowledge-sharing, and commercial growth.
As a Business Development Manager, you will own the full sales cycle from identifying leads to closing deals. You’ll work with mid-sized accounts and collaborate with internal teams to create value-led sponsorship and exhibition propositions. This is a target-driven role with clear progression opportunities.
During a Typical Day You Might:
- Identify and convert new business opportunities within the technology, financial services, and digital ecosystem
- Manage full sales cycles for high-value sponsorship or commercial exhibition packages
- Build and maintain relationships with mid-to-senior level industry stakeholders
- Prepare tailored proposals and contracts
- Maintain up-to-date records in Salesforce and other pipeline tools
- Provide accurate sales forecasts
- Participate in strategic planning and feedback sessions with internal teams
