Job Description

We are seeking a hands-on Finance Business Partner to support senior leadership and drive strong financial discipline across two legal entities. This role requires someone commercially minded who can translate financial information for non-finance stakeholders while maintaining strong control over reporting, project accounting, and cashflow management.

 

Key Responsibilities

 

  • Act as a key finance partner to senior management, providing clear financial insight and guidance to non-finance stakeholders
  • Manage the monthly close process across two entities, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
  • Oversee project accounting including accruals, cost tracking, and profitability analysis
  • Ensure correct application of revenue recognition principles in line with IFRS
  • Manage and develop the Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable teams
  • Monitor and manage cashflow, providing regular forecasts and insights
  • Maintain awareness of regulatory requirements and ensure compliance across the entities
  • Lead month-end reporting, including project-related accruals and adjustments
  • Drive improvements in finance processes, controls, and reporting efficiency
  • Act as the main point of contact for external auditors and coordinate the year-end audit process
  • Support the business with budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities

 

Candidate Profile

 

  • Around 8-10 years’ finance experience, ideally suited to someone in the 30–33 age range
  • Strong experience in project accounting and revenue recognition
  • Solid understanding of IFRS and financial reporting requirements
  • Experience managing a small finance team
  • Outgoing / extrovert personality would be well-suited to this environment
  • Highly process-driven with strong attention to detail
  • Comfortable operating in a hands-on role within a growing business
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work closely with non-finance senior stakeholders
  • Professional accounting qualification preferred (ACA / ACCA / CPA or equivalent)
  • Arabic and French language skills will be given preference
