Job Description
A well-established accounting and tax advisory business with an excellent reputation for delivering a quality service, is seeking a Senior Manager to lead its Client Accounting function.
We are looking to hire someone who can grow with the business, which is currently growing very quickly through referrals of HNWIs.
This is a senior, hands-on leadership role overseeing a large portfolio of SME clients, including both regulated and non-regulated entities across multiple UAE jurisdictions, including DIFC and ADGM.
You will manage a team of 5 who handle outsourced accounting, tax, and financial reporting delivery, ensuring quality, timeliness, and compliance across the client portfolio.
The role reports directly to the Partner.
Key responsibilities include:
- Overseeing monthly and quarterly management accounts and annual financial statements for multiple clients
- Reviewing VAT returns, Corporate Tax computations, and regulatory filings
- Acting as the senior technical reviewer on complex accounting and tax matters
- Leading, mentoring, and developing a team of 5 accountants
- Managing key client relationships as the senior point of contact, visiting client’s offices regularly to maintain quality customer service
- Supporting onboarding, scoping, pricing, and profitability monitoring
- Ensuring compliance with UAE tax and relevant regulatory frameworks
- Driving process improvements, standardisation, and automation initiatives
Candidate Profile
- 10-15+ years’ experience in an accounting firm, advisory, or outsourced finance environment
- Proven experience managing accounting teams
- Strong technical knowledge of IFRS for SMEs, VAT, and UAE Corporate Tax
- Experience supporting financially regulated entities is advantageous
- ACA / ACCA (or equivalent Chartered qualification) essential
