Job Description

Inspire Selection is recruiting this senior leadership role for a commercially minded finance executive ready to operate at pace in a high-growth environment. You’ll take full ownership of the finance function for a large-scale Saudi business, operating in the engineering consultancy industry - Partnering closely with regional leadership, playing a key role in shaping business performance and strategy.

 

With significant expansion plans underway, this position offers real influence, visibility, and the chance to build and scale a best-in-class finance function.

 

The Role:


Reporting into the regional CFO and MD, you will lead all financial activity across the Saudi business. You’ll act as a strategic advisor while ensuring strong financial governance, performance management, and operational control.

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

  • Own and deliver accurate, timely monthly financial reporting to internal and external stakeholders
  • Lead annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting processes
  • Oversee cash flow, banking relationships, and funding structures
  • Manage statutory reporting, audit processes, and tax compliance
  • Strengthen and maintain a robust internal control framework
  • Build, lead, and develop a high-performing finance team
  • Define and execute financial strategy aligned with business growth plans
  • Partner with leadership to evaluate commercial decisions and financial impact
  • Manage relationships with shareholders and ensure clear financial communication
  • Oversee financial performance across the full project lifecycle (bid to closeout)

 

About You:

 

  • Degree or Masters in Finance or Accounting - essential to obtain a visa
  • 20+ years’ experience in senior finance roles, within engineering, construction, or project-based environments
  • Currently operating at FD/CFO level
  • Proven leadership experience in large, complex, multinational organisations with multi $bn turnover
  • Strong commercial acumen with the ability to influence at executive level
  • Excellent communication skills – able to engage effectively across all levels
  • Hands-on leadership style with a focus on team development
  • Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail and governance
  • Highly organised, able to operate in a fast-paced, evolving environment
