Operations Manager – Luxury Travel

Company Overview
A well-established travel and experiences business is seeking an experienced Operations Manager to lead end-to-end operational delivery across global destinations. This role requires strong operational judgement, stakeholder management, and hands-on leadership within a fast-paced travel environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee day-to-day travel operations, ensuring seamless delivery across multiple geographies
  • Manage operational feasibility for client requests, itineraries, and bespoke travel experiences
  • Lead and develop an operations team, driving performance, accountability, and service standards
  • Manage ticketing operations and liaise with key ticketing channels and OTAs
  • Act as a key point of contact for client engagement on operational matters
  • Establish, review, and optimise SOPs to ensure consistency, compliance, and efficiency
  • Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to resolve operational challenges proactively

Requirements

  • 8–10 years’ experience within the travel industry, with a strong focus on operations
  • Proven experience managing global destinations and multi-market travel operations
  • Solid understanding of ticketing systems, distribution channels, and OTAs
  • Demonstrated people management and team leadership experience
  • Strong operational planning, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
  • Comfortable working in a client-facing role within a service-driven environment
