Job Description

We are representing a disruptive, pre-IPO cookware brand shaking up kitchens worldwide, already making waves across multiple markets. Now, they are setting their sights on the Middle East, with Dubai as their hub for growth.

The Dubai office is in the process of being established, trade licence underway, and we’re looking for an entrepreneurial eCommerce Business Manager to lead the charge in this region. If you’re ready to build something from the ground up, drive results, and eventually scale a team, this is your sign to apply.

As our eCommerce Business Manager – Dubai, you’ll play a pivotal role in launching and growing the online business in the Middle East. With a mix of strategic insight and hands-on execution, you’ll establish their presence, drive revenue, and lay the foundation for a scalable team in the region.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Market Entry & Growth: Lead the setup of eCommerce operations in Dubai, ensuring smooth launch and future scalability across the GCC.
  • Market Research: Understand regional consumer behaviours, preferences, and competitive dynamics to shape the strategy.
  • Platform & Marketplace Management: Select, launch, and optimise the right platforms/marketplaces for the UAE market.
  • Partnerships: Build strong relationships with local partners, agencies, and influencers to expand brand presence.
  • Logistics & Fulfilment: Collaborate with fulfilment partners to ensure seamless operations and on-time delivery.
  • Digital Marketing: Design and execute campaigns across paid, owned, and earned channels tailored to the regional market.
  • Customer Experience: Localise the customer journey, ensuring best-in-class service and engagement.
  • Analytics & Performance: Implement tracking and reporting to measure growth, adjusting strategy based on data-driven insights.
  • Compliance: Ensure adherence to local eCommerce regulations, tax laws, and licensing requirements.
  • Team Growth: Take the lead initially as a hands-on manager, then build and mentor a high-performing regional eCommerce team.

Requirements:

  • Strong experience in consumer eCommerce (own platforms and marketplaces).
  • Proven track record in digital marketing and performance optimisation.
  • Commercially savvy, with experience managing P&L and scaling online revenue.
  • Analytical mindset with ability to interpret KPIs and pivot strategy accordingly.
  • Previous experience launching or growing international brands in the GCC is highly advantageous.
  • Comfortable managing third-party vendors and service providers.
  • Action-oriented, entrepreneurial, and ready to thrive in a start-up style environment.
  • Passion for cooking, food, or lifestyle consumer brands is a strong plus.
