Job Description

We’re recruiting a FP&A Manager with experience in the manufacturing industry.

 

The company is a listed plc with a $5bn global turnover.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Collect, consolidate, and report profitability data by customer across multiple manufacturing and distribution entities from various manufacturing data points
  • Work with financial data from various departments and business units to compile comprehensive profitability reports. This involves gathering data on revenue, costs, and margins, and ensuring that it is accurately attributed to specific customers or projects across different business entities.
  • Prepare and analyze end-to-end financial data, including monthly analysis by customer and product type.
  • Format a large volume of financial data in Excel to be easily uploaded and visualized in Power BI.
  • Analyze key metrics such as sales performance, gross margins, and product profitability.
  • Identify trends, variances, and actionable insights that can be communicated to management.
  • Develop standardized templates and processes for End to End financial reporting. Use automation tools (e.g., Power BI, Excel macros) to streamline data collection and reporting. Document processes clearly so that they can be easily followed and replicated, reducing errors and saving time.
  • Build End to End forecasting models that project future financial performance based on sales forecast data. Use these models to provide insights on expected profitability, costs, and cash flow, helping the company plan for future financial needs.

 

Requirements:

 

  • 7-10 years work experience
  • Full working knowledge and understanding of the manufacturing process
  • Understanding of cost accounting & cost analysis
  • Proven experience in financial analysis, reporting, and forecasting.
  • Advanced Excel skills and PowerPoint skills are a must for this role. Proficiency in Power BI and other data visualization tools will be major advantage for the chosen candidate to succeed.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Patience in working methodically towards desired outcomes will be an essential attribute in this role
  • Experience in process standardization and automation. Creativity in devising new solution.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
