Our client is a prominent UAE-based organisation establishing a specialist artificial intelligence and analytics function to support innovation, operational improvement and evidence-based decision-making across the business.

The AI Engineer will design, develop, deploy and maintain artificial intelligence and machine-learning solutions that support organisational operations and decision-making. The role will be responsible for building reliable AI models, data pipelines and deployment workflows, ensuring solutions are scalable, secure, well documented and compliant with approved AI governance frameworks. Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, test and deploy AI and machine-learning models.
  • Build and maintain data pipelines, feature engineering workflows and model deployment processes.
  • Translate AI and analytics requirements into practical technical solutions.
  • Support integration of AI models into enterprise systems and operational workflows.
  • Monitor AI model performance, accuracy, reliability and drift.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve AI system, model and deployment issues.
  • Optimise AI solutions for performance, reliability, scalability and maintainability.
  • Provide technical input on AI architecture, tooling, platforms and engineering best practices.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Engineering, Data Science or a related field.
  • 3–6 years of experience in AI, machine learning, data engineering or software engineering roles.
  • Hands-on experience developing and deploying AI or machine-learning models in enterprise environments.
  • Strong Python skills and experience with AI frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch or similar tools.
  • Strong understanding of machine-learning algorithms.
  • Experience with data engineering, feature engineering and model deployment.
  • Knowledge of MLOps, model monitoring and lifecycle management.
  • Experience with cloud or on-premise AI platforms.
  • Understanding of AI security, privacy, responsible AI and model explainability.
  • Familiarity with software engineering best practices.
  • Experience in government, regulated or security-sensitive environments would be preferred.
  • Relevant certifications in AI, machine learning, cloud platforms or MLOps would be advantageous.
  • Advanced English and Arabic language skills.
  • Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving, attention to detail, adaptability and professional ethics.
