Our client is a prominent UAE-based organisation delivering strategic initiatives that support enterprise development, innovation and the growth of emerging businesses.

The Officer will support the delivery of structured business development initiatives aimed at early-stage and growth-focused companies. The role will combine programme administration, participant coordination, project tracking, stakeholder engagement and management reporting.

Responsibilities

Assist with the delivery of business support programmes designed for startups, entrepreneurs and developing companies.

Manage participant intake activities, including application reviews, eligibility checks, assessment coordination and candidate communications.

Arrange programme sessions such as training workshops, advisory meetings, networking activities and industry engagements.

Act as a key coordination point between participants, internal teams, external specialists and programme partners.

Track company development against agreed objectives, delivery dates and performance measures.

Maintain clear records covering participant activity, programme outcomes, attendance, deliverables and supporting documentation.

Produce regular updates, dashboards, presentations and summary reports for senior stakeholders.

Help coordinate access to mentors, technical experts, service providers and other resources required by participating businesses.

Support the administration of financial assistance or business support funding, including usage tracking and document verification.

Gather participant and partner feedback and identify practical opportunities to strengthen programme delivery.

Coordinate assigned projects through planning, execution and close-out stages.

Prepare working schedules, delivery plans, issue logs, risk trackers and follow-up records.

Monitor deadlines, dependencies and outstanding actions, highlighting concerns to the relevant stakeholders.

Organise project meetings, circulate agendas, record key decisions and ensure agreed actions are followed through.

Work across departments and with external organisations to keep project activity aligned and on schedule.

Monitor project outputs, budget-related information and performance measures where applicable.

Assist with the preparation of business cases, approval papers, progress summaries and governance submissions.

Promote consistent project management practices and support process improvement across assigned initiatives.

Ensure activities are completed in accordance with internal controls, quality requirements and organisational policies.

Undertake other related responsibilities as required.

Requirements

Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Project Management, Entrepreneurship, Innovation, Economics or a related subject.

Relevant experience in project coordination, programme delivery, enterprise support, innovation initiatives or economic development.

Exposure to startup support, SME development, incubator programmes, accelerator programmes or public-sector initiatives would be advantageous.

Strong capability in planning, coordination, documentation and performance tracking.

Experience preparing management reports, presentations, action logs, delivery schedules and project updates.

Good analytical judgement and the ability to identify and communicate delivery risks.

Strong written and verbal communication skills in Arabic and English.

Confident user of Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Word.

Ability to manage several activities and stakeholder groups at the same time.

Familiarity with project delivery frameworks such as Agile, PRINCE2 or PMBOK would be beneficial.

A recognised project management qualification would be an advantage.

This position is restricted to UAE National candidates.

The successful candidate will be a structured and proactive UAE National professional who is comfortable working across multiple programmes and projects. They should be confident coordinating stakeholders, maintaining accurate records, monitoring delivery progress and preparing clear updates for management. A practical approach, strong follow-through and an interest in entrepreneurship and business development will be important.
