Job Description
Our client is an ambitious, newly established Wealth Management firm based in the DIFC. As they start their growth journey, they need a highly organised, proactive, and commercially-minded Operations Manager to join this critical startup phase.
This is not a traditional BAU corporate role. We’re looking for a "linchpin" someone who is equally comfortable overseeing middle-and-back-office investment operations as they are ensuring the physical office environment runs seamlessly. You will be instrumental in building the operational infrastructure from the ground up.
Key Responsibilities
- Middle & Back Office: Overseeing trade support, settlement oversight, and liaising with
- custodians and third-party administrators.
- Operational Workflow: Designing and implementing robust operational processes to ensure scalable and compliant growth.
- Client Onboarding: Managing the end-to-end KYC and AML documentation process for high-net-worth (HNW) clients.
- Office Management: Responsible for the daily running of the Dubai office, including vendor management, procurement of supplies, and coordinating with building management.
Requirements
- Degree educated, ideally in a business or financial subject
- Minimum of 8 years experience in a similar role within Wealth Management, Asset
- Management, or Private Banking operations.
- A "startup mentality" someone who is proactive, adaptable, and comfortable with ambiguity. Someone that can take ownership and demonstrate initiative without waiting for instructions.
- Experience in the DIFC is highly advantageous.
- Excellent command of written and spoken English, Russian would be an advantage but not essential.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office
- (Excel, PowerPoint) and familiarity with portfolio management systems.
- Must be currently based in Dubai.
