I’m working with a newly launched, well-backed digital retail business in Dubai that’s preparing for market launch this year.
They’re building something genuinely different in the region and are now hiring their first operational team member to work directly with the founder as the business goes live.
This is a brilliant role for someone who enjoys being close to the action in a growing business and wants to help shape how things are built from day one.
Responsibilities:
- Supporting the day-to-day running of an e-commerce platform
- Monitoring site performance, customer journey and conversion optimisation
- Coordinating orders, dispatch and delivery partners
- Helping manage customer service processes as volume grows
- Working closely with the founder on execution and continuous improvement
- Supporting the build-out of a small customer service team over time
Requirements:
- 3 - 6 years’ experience in e-commerce, digital retail or online operations
- Experience working with physical products rather than pure services
- Exposure to merchandising, pricing, UX or conversion optimisation
- Comfortable in a hands-on role where priorities evolve
- Confident dealing with customers and operational partners
- Arabic speakers are highly desirable
