Job Description
Due to winning a major project and the requirement to mobilise 150 employees quickly, we’re hiring an experienced HR Business Partner on a 6 month project. This role will support a complex project in a fast-paced MNC in Qatar, covering both onshore and offshore populations.
This is a hands-on, commercially focused role partnering closely with senior leaders to deliver end-to-end HR support across the full employee lifecycle.
The candidate will be the main contact for all the new employees and the new key business stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as a trusted advisor to leaders on all HR matters
- Lead employee relations cases including performance, discipline and grievance
- Drive workforce planning, talent management and engagement initiatives
- Support organisational change, restructures and complex HR projects
- Partner with TA on recruitment for permanent and temporary roles
- Ensure compliance with Qatar labour law and internal policies
- Use HR data and metrics to inform decision-making and improvement
Requirements:
- Must be able to join early January – this is a temporary / 6 month contract role. Candidates who are already in a permanent job will NOT be considered.
- Degree in HR or related discipline
- 6+ years’ experience in an HR Business Partner role within a global organisation
- Strong knowledge of Qatar employment law
- Proven employee relations and change management experience
- Confident operating in a matrix environment
- Strong stakeholder management and commercial mindset
- Fluent English essential; Arabic is an advantage
Nice to have:
- Experience supporting onshore and offshore workforces
- Exposure to industrial, engineering, or energy environments
