Job Overview:
As a Senior Account Manager, you will lead a portfolio of client accounts, overseeing the development and implementation of strategic PR and communication initiatives. Leveraging your experience and expertise, you will mentor and guide a team of account executives to deliver exceptional results while fostering strong client relationships and driving business growth.
Responsibilities:
1. Client Leadership and Relationship Management:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for key client accounts, building trusted partnerships
and understanding their business objectives.
- Lead client meetings, presentations, and strategic planning sessions, ensuring alignment
with clients' goals and objectives.
- Provide strategic counsel to clients, offering insights and recommendations to enhance their
PR and communication strategies.
2. Team Management and Mentorship:
- Supervise and mentor a team of account executives, providing guidance, support, and
professional development opportunities.
- Delegate tasks effectively, ensuring the team meets deadlines and delivers high-quality work.
- Foster a collaborative and inclusive team culture, promoting teamwork, creativity, and
accountability.
3. Strategic Planning and Campaign Execution:
- Develop comprehensive PR and communication strategies tailored to clients' objectives,
target audiences, and market dynamics.
- Oversee the execution of integrated campaigns across traditional and digital channels,
ensuring consistency and effectiveness.
- Monitor campaign performance, analyze results, and make data-driven recommendations for
optimization and improvement.
4. Media Relations and Content Development:
- Cultivate and maintain relationships with key media contacts, journalists, bloggers, and
influencers.
- Lead media outreach efforts, pitching story ideas, securing coverage, and managing media
inquiries on behalf of clients.
- Collaborate with the team to develop compelling content, including press releases, articles,
social media posts, and blog posts.
5. Client Reporting and Financial Management:
- Prepare regular progress reports, campaign summaries, and performance metrics for clients,
highlighting key achievements and insights.
- Monitor project budgets, track expenses, and ensure profitability for client accounts.
- Identify opportunities for organic growth and upsell additional services to existing clients.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in PR, communications, or related roles, with a proven track record of
success in agency environments.
- Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a
diverse team.
- Excellent client relationship management skills, with a focus on delivering exceptional service
and results.
- Strategic thinker with a creative mindset, able to develop innovative PR strategies that drive
business impact.
- Proficiency in media relations, with a network of media contacts in Dubai and the UAE.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, managing multiple projects and
priorities effectively.
- Fluency in English is required; Arabic proficiency is a plus.
