We are seeking a skilled Data Analyst / Business Analyst with a strong foundation in business intelligence (BI), data transformation, and AI/ML technologies. This role requires hands-on expertise in Power BI, Tableau, and advanced data programming. The ideal candidate will be experienced in transforming raw data into actionable insights and will support business strategy through data storytelling and intelligent automation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform ETL processes across multiple data sources to prepare optimized datasets.
• Design, develop, and maintain data models to drive business insights.
• Analyze complex datasets to uncover trends, patterns, and opportunities for growth.
• Build interactive dashboards, reports, and data visualizations using Power BI or Tableau.
• Translate analytical findings into compelling data stories for non-technical stakeholders.
• Collaborate with business units to identify data-driven solutions to business challenges.
• Define and scope AI/ML use cases (e.g., forecasting, fraud detection, pricing optimization).
• Implement AI/ML models and tools for predictive analytics and automation.
• Maintain data quality and integrity through best practices and QA tools.
• Automate analysis workflows using SQL, Python, or R.
• Stay current on trends in data analytics, AI/ML, and BI technologies.
• Train team members in data tools, AI capabilities, and best practices.

Required Skills & Competencies:

• Strong proficiency in Power BI, Tableau, and data visualization best practices.
• Expertise in data modeling, transformation, and handling large-scale data sets.
• Proven skills in SQL, Python, and/or R for data analysis and automation.
• Experience with AI/ML models and technologies for business applications.
• Solid understanding of data quality frameworks and integrity checks.
• Ability to convert business needs into technical requirements and data solutions.
• Strong communication skills to explain complex data in plain business terms.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Experience working with structured and unstructured data.
• Demonstrated ability to manage stakeholder relationships effectively.
• Background in statistical modeling, machine learning, and data mining techniques.
• Hands-on experience with generative AI tools is a strong plus.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Business Analytics, or related field (Master’s preferred).
• Minimum 5 years of experience in data/business analysis or a similar role.
• Proven experience with ETL processes, data modeling, and AI/ML deployment.

Preferred Experience:

• Experience in developing AI-driven business applications.
• Understanding of industry-specific data practices (e.g., finance, healthcare, retail).
• Previous experience in training teams or conducting workshops on BI/AI tools.
