Job Description
Working within the higher education sector the suitable applicant will be responsible for leading the strategic direction for the facilities, Admin, HSE departments.
Responsibilities
- Strategic and operational responsibility, budget ownership and operational excellence
- Overseeing the universities facilities in areas such as capacity, repair, new constructions, renovation
- Ensuring risk mitigation specifically in HSE areas, whilst working with relevant stakeholders
- Overseeing the general services (cleaning/security/landscaping etc)
- Supporting the procurement processes and selection, ensuring compliance with govt regulations
- Management of teams, coaching, guidance and development
- All other duties as required
Qualifications and Experience
- Degree (ideally masters) in relevant field such as engineering
- High level of experience in a similar role, at a senior level
- Ideally experience within the higher education sector
- Preference will be given to UAE Nationals
