Working within the higher education sector the suitable applicant will be responsible for leading the strategic direction for the facilities, Admin, HSE departments.

Responsibilities

• Strategic and operational responsibility, budget ownership and operational excellence
• Overseeing the universities facilities in areas such as capacity, repair, new constructions, renovation
• Ensuring risk mitigation specifically in HSE areas, whilst working with relevant stakeholders
• Overseeing the general services (cleaning/security/landscaping etc)
• Supporting the procurement processes and selection, ensuring compliance with govt regulations
• Management of teams, coaching, guidance and development
• All other duties as required

Qualifications and Experience

• Degree (ideally masters) in relevant field such as engineering
• High level of experience in a similar role, at a senior level
• Ideally experience within the higher education sector
• Preference will be given to UAE Nationals
