Job Description

Our client is a prominent government entity supporting national capability development, strategic human capital initiatives and organisational excellence.

 

The Officer / Senior Officer – Recruitment & Rewards will be responsible for supporting the end-to-end recruitment process, with a strong focus on UAE National talent. The role will involve candidate sourcing, screening, assessment coordination, offer management, stakeholder liaison and recruitment administration, ensuring hiring activity is delivered accurately, professionally and in line with internal procedures.

 

Responsibilities:

 

  • Support the end-to-end recruitment process for assigned vacancies across the organisation and its subsidiaries where required.
  • Source and identify suitable candidates through multiple recruitment channels, with a particular focus on UAE National candidates.
  • Prepare candidate profiles and coordinate recruitment campaigns with universities, recruitment agencies and other external sources.
  • Conduct initial candidate screening, shortlisting and first-stage interviews.
  • Coordinate and administer recruitment assessments, psychometric tests and interview processes.
  • Manage candidate communication, including interview scheduling, offer updates, acceptance confirmations and rejection notifications.
  • Prepare employment offers, appointment letters and employment contracts in accordance with company policies and internal approval processes.
  • Coordinate with recruitment agencies regarding candidate submissions, placements, agreements, invoices and payments.
  • Liaise with internal stakeholders regarding onboarding activities, visa processing, health insurance and employee induction.
  • Maintain accurate recruitment records, candidate documentation and recruitment trackers.
  • Ensure timely reporting and compliance with recruitment procedures, internal policies and relevant UAE employment regulations.
  • Support wider HR and rewards-related administration where required.

 

Requirements:

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or a related discipline.
  • 3-5 years’ experience in recruitment and selection or a related HR function.
  • Professional certification in recruitment, competency-based interviewing or a related HR discipline is preferred.
  • Experience supporting UAE National recruitment or Emiratisation hiring is highly preferred.
  • Good understanding of recruitment processes, HR policies and hiring procedures.
  • Knowledge of UAE Labour Law.
  • Strong interviewing, screening and candidate assessment skills.
  • Good communication skills in both English and Arabic.
  • Proficient user of Microsoft Office applications.
  • Strong organisational, planning and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple recruitment processes, candidate communications and internal stakeholders at the same time.

The successful candidate will be a UAE National with previous experience in recruitment, talent acquisition or a related HR function. They should be professional, organised and confident engaging with candidates, universities, recruitment agencies and internal stakeholders. The role requires strong attention to detail, good communication skills and the ability to support recruitment activity from initial sourcing through to offer and onboarding.
