Job Description
I’m representing a leading healthcare organisation in the region that is entering its next phase of growth. The CEO is looking to appoint a Chief Growth Officer to take full ownership of revenue expansion across the business.
This is a true inhouse build role. This person will sit at the leadership table with full accountability for identifying, validating and delivering new growth opportunities across the region.
The Chief Growth Officer will be responsible for identifying where and how the business can grow… new services, new products, acquisitions, partnerships and market entry.
You will build end-to-end business cases that stand up both clinically and commercially. That means being able to assess whether an opportunity is genuinely sound from a medical perspective, not just attractive on paper or from a marketing angle.
Most organisations outsource this thinking to consultants. This CEO wants that capability in-house. Someone with skin in the game who deeply understands the current business and can shape its future.
Key responsibilities:
- Identify and evaluate new revenue streams across healthcare services, products and markets
- Develop detailed business cases, financial models and growth strategies for acquisitions, partnerships and expansion
- Clinically validate opportunities to ensure they are medically credible, compliant and operationally viable
- Pitch growth initiatives directly to the CEO and senior leadership team
- Work cross-functionally with clinical, operations, finance and commercial teams to bring opportunities to market
- Track performance and ROI of new initiatives post-launch
- Act as the internal authority on growth strategy across the organisation
What I’m looking for:
- Strong experience in healthcare strategy, growth or transformation
- A background that blends clinical understanding with commercial and strategic capability
- Experience building and validating business cases within healthcare environments
- Exposure to regional healthcare markets and regulatory frameworks
- Likely background in a top-tier consultancy healthcare practice, healthcare group, or large clinical network
- Comfortable operating at board and C-suite level
- Hands-on, analytical, commercially sharp and credible with clinicians
This role will suit someone who has been advising healthcare businesses on growth and is now ready to own it end-to-end inside an organisation.
