Overview

We are seeking a dynamic Account Director to join an international agency expanding its footprint in Dubai. This is an exciting opportunity to help build and grow the regional office while leading key client relationships, driving business development, and delivering world-class brand campaigns across the MENA region.

The ideal candidate will be a confident client partner, a strategic thinker, and a strong team leader who thrives in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment. You’ll be at the heart of shaping campaigns that cut through culture, create real impact, and position our clients for growth.

Key Responsibilities

Client Leadership

  • Act as the senior day-to-day contact for regional and global clients.

  • Build strong relationships at senior levels, ensuring alignment with client objectives and KPIs.

  • Deliver strategic counsel to clients, guiding them through campaign planning, execution, and measurement.

Strategy & Campaign Development

  • Lead the development of integrated marketing strategies and creative briefs.

  • Oversee campaign activations across digital, experiential, and traditional platforms.

  • Translate client objectives into measurable, insight-driven solutions that deliver ROI.

Team Leadership & Growth

  • Manage and mentor account teams, fostering a collaborative and high-performing culture.

  • Support in hiring and building the MENA team as the office expands.

  • Promote knowledge-sharing and best practice across global and regional teams.

Business Development

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities across the MENA region.

  • Contribute to pitches, proposals, and thought leadership to support agency growth.

  • Develop cross-sell and upsell opportunities within existing accounts.

Operational Excellence

  • Ensure campaigns are delivered on time, on budget, and to the highest standard.

  • Track performance and provide clients with regular reporting and insights.

  • Maintain efficient processes for project management and resourcing.

What We’re Looking For

  • 8–12 years of experience in client services, account management, or integrated marketing (agency background preferred).

  • Proven track record in managing senior clients and delivering complex, multi-market campaigns.

  • Strong understanding of brand strategy, communications, and cultural engagement.

  • Ability to lead and inspire teams while being hands-on when required.

  • Excellent presentation, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.

  • Entrepreneurial mindset with the drive to help grow a new regional office.

  • Based in (or willing to relocate to) Dubai, with knowledge of the MENA market highly advantageous.
